What is the Character count file property?

The character count is the number of characters, excluding spaces, in a file.

Character count is a file property in a category we call Document properties.

Document properties are saved in files made by applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Some are generated automatically, such as "Word Count", and others can be entered by the user, such as "Comment"
